What time does Sax open?
SAX opens Wednesday, Friday and Saturday at 11pm until 3am. Our Dinner Service and our SIR Sunday Show will return soon!
Is there a dress code?
Yes, we encourage our guests to dress fashionable with a sense of style in order to maintain the formality within our venue. Please understand that it is up to our door person and/or management’s discretion when enforcing our dress code policy. Sports/sneakers shoes, casual boots, flip flops, athletic caps, t-shirts, shorts, athletic apparel, and tattered or ill-fitting clothing/jeans are not appropriate for our venue.
Which show will I see?
Depending on the night, you'll see a burlesque inspired, theatrical revue, with acrobatic pole dancing, interpretive dance, and aerialists.
Is there valet at SAX?
Yes, we offer valet every evening we are open for business. Cost is $12 per vehicle before 10PM and $20 per vehicle after 10PM.
Do I need a reservation?
Yes. We strongly recommend reservations to ensure availability for your party size on the desired date of attendance.
Yes, tickets are required for the SIR matinees on Sunday.
Both shows usually sell out. Click on the Reservations tab to learn more and to
make a dinner reservation (which includes the show).
What is the service charge?
We apply a 22% service charge per check for gratuity. You are welcome
to leave more if your experience was truly exceptional.
How long do I have at the table?
Strict (2) two hours time limit applies to all tables
Can I split checks and how many cards can I use for the table?
One check per table; Bill can be split on (4) cards maximum.
How do we reserve a table for Bottle Service?
After dinner, all seated areas at SAX are reserved for bottle service and can be reserved with a required liquor/bottle minimum. Learn about our Bottle Services and Celebration Packages here.
Does SAX offer a Happy Hour?
We do not currently have Happy Hour, however we do Corporate Happy Hours for large groups upon request. Please email info@saxwdc.com for all booking inquiries.
Are underage guests allowed at SAX?
SAX is a 21 and over venue, regardless of the day of the week or time of entry.
How do I book a birthday, celebration or bachelorette party?
We offer a variety of packages that can be booked by contacting us at info@saxwdc.com or via phone at 202.737.0101 or text us 24/7 at 202.301.0177.
Do you allow cameras?
We all love selfies & pics! We do allow phone cameras, however, please be mindful of those around you and the performers; it is very dark at SAX and the flashes can be distracting and dangerous. If you upload, tag us @saxdc. Professional cameras or other professional photography equipment is not permitted.

Is there a cake/cupcake fee?
We love celebrations at SAX! If you would like to celebrate by bringing your own cake or cupcakes from your favorite bakery, there is a $5 per person fee. We do offer desserts on our dinner menu and a complimentary individual cake for the guest of honor.

What is the closest Metro?
Metro Center is the closest metro. The closest exit is at 11th & G Street.
What is your corkage policy?
SAX offers wine corkage for bottles that are not available on our wine list for a service charge of $25 per bottle. A maximum of two 750ml bottles are permitted per reservation. SAX does not allow magnums. Corkage service charge does not apply toward our food and beverage minimums.
